So everyone’s stuck at home and I’m going to throw out a made-up statistic and say about 80% of people have done something to their hair 🤣
Because of this, I thought I’d share some of the top trending hair do’s/fails for those of you who are yet to pick up the sissors from the renowned app, TikTok.
If you do try one of these, at least if you don’t like it, you can grow it out and by the time we’re let back outside no-one will know!
#1 Boy Perm
Yep! you read that right. More and more guys are heading the salon to get the infamous 80s perm. It’s essentially a curly undercut. but you wear the hair forward/down like a bowl cut. It’s everywhere! I have literally watched youtube videos of 14 year olds rating and reviewing send-ins from guys their age getting perms! 😂(I got stuck down a late night rabbit youtube hole) So if you want to make your little brother/cousin or school students proud, get those little pink rollers and perm paper out boy!

#2 Bleach Bangs.
Yep! bringing back a bit of 90’s Ginger Spice. More and more girls are reclaiming those peroxide “money pieces.” Joining the the new clan - “egirls/eboys.” I blame Dua Lipa. Some people are taking it a step further and dying the pieces fluro green, pink, blue etc.

#3 Sock or Robe tie Curls
There’s a trend where people are using bathrobe ties or socks and basically platting their hair around the sock/tie and leaving overnight to reveal some killer Hollywood waves. You can throw that curling iron in the bin now 😉

#4 Boy Band grow-out

If anything, I’m currently growing my hair out to be somewhat this crossed with a late 70’s Beegee’s come Patrick Swayze vibe. I call it “I cant get to my barber because of lockdown.” 😉
